A high school graduate of St. Mary's College, Quezon City, she is the eldest sister of fellow actress Michelle Madrigal and the daughter of former actress Karla Kalua, whose real name is Katherine Ann Madrigal. Ehra became 2-time FHM Philippines covergirl for September 2006 and June 2008 while her sister Michelle became 1-time FHM covergirl for the same month as Ehra's but in 2007 issue.
